Writing is a very personal form of expression. The words live in your deepest thoughts and beliefs, and are shaped by your experiences. How and what you write is a reflection of who you are. I was instilled with this passion from a very early age, as I listened to my father's stories of the old days in Italy. I was always fascinated by the way he could make me feel - transport me back to the places and things he loved. And my mother, who would laugh easily at the antics he described and come alive in the company of family and friends, taught me to appreciate the stories and especially the experiences.
